BSNL IS OUT OF TOP 10
BSNL is now out of the Top 10 profit making Public Sector Units.
It may be noted that BSNL was in the sixth place in the year 2007-2008.
However, a steady fall in net profit and revenues in the face of delayed expansion plans and fierce competition have brought its profit to Rs 574 crore in 2008-09, moving it out of the coveted list. A more detailed report is available here.
