Shri Thomas John K, All India President and Shri D. Chandra Sekhar, officiating G.S. FNTO met Shri S.C. Mishra, Member Services, DoT and greeted him on his elevation to Telecom Commission

Pension Revision of pre.01.01.2007 BSNL Retirees: It was told that the issue is receiving active consideration and examination by DoT. Member Services invited suggestion from the Unions for Pension Fixation Formula.
Wage Revision of BSNL Non-Executive Employees: On the issue of Wage Revision of BSNL Non-Executive employees, it is learnt that there are contradictions in the recommendations made by the Wage Revision Committee. With regards to fitment formula, which says that IDA neutralization will be 100% on 01.01.2007, whereas only 68.8% is taken into account as against actual; 78.2% IDA on 1.1.2007. Thus it can not be 100% neutralization as IDA can not Zero as 9.4% IDA remains unmerged on date. In such circumstances DoT needs clarification from BSNL. It was promised that DoT will settle Wage Revision as early as possible.
ACP II to Sr. Accountant: The issue of denying ACP II to Sr. Accountants was discussed and DoT official agreed that they will stand with the clarification issued in consultation with DOPT which may help the Senior Accountant to get their ACP II which was withdrawn earlier.D. Chandra Sekhar
