To start with, subscribers in 19 Telecom districts named Bhubneshwar (Orissa), Bhopal (MP), Balasore, Dehradun (Uttranchal), Hyderabad, Hassan, Kodagu, Jammu, Kamrup (Assam), Kalyan (Maharashtra), Lucknow, Meeruth (UP) Jaipur (Rajasthan), Raipur (CG),Tejpur (Assam), Tuticorin, Tirunelvelli and Vellore (Tamilnadu) will be offered these services. For telephone bills as and when they are generated, birth days, last date for bill payment reminders, 80% of broad band usage are some of the items on which SMS will be sent.
