Govt. gives nod to BSNL’s VRS plan.
DOT has agreed in principle to approve the VRS proposal
submitted by BSNL and a cabinet note for the same will be floated shortly, as
it is learnt.
Refund of license fee for unused BWA:
DOT has written to BSNL that BSNL will be allowed to
surrender the unused BWA spectrum in 17 circles but the refund of license fee
will be made only after the 2nd Auction to be held during next year.
it is high time FNTO pressure for good package as said before, for the VRS. many of the officers are also wanted to go on VRS, but no idea why thier unions are so against it. is there any bargain behind the screen???
