Branch Secretaries Seminar at Virudhunagar

Trade union seminar for Branch Secretaries in Nagercoil, Tuticorin, Thirunelveli, Karaikkudi Virudhunagar and Madurai SSAs will be held at Virudhunagar on 02-02-2013. Notice is being sent to all the concerned Disitrict secretaries who are requested to early inform the Branch secretaries and arrange for all the branch secretaries to attend the seminar positively.

DOT wants Govt. to bear the spectrum charges BSNL has to pay

DOT has requested the Central government to pay one time cost of the spectrum charges BSNL has been ordered to pay. The DOT has well considered the roll of BSNL in mainaining telecom infrastrucure pan India and its present financial position and hence made this request. It has also requested to refund the charges for the 4 G spectrum which was surrendered by BSNL. But will the Government accept and agree to lose an amount more or less equal to the revenue generated by specrum auctions ?  Here is a very fine appreciation of BSNL by DOT.

“The DoT in its Cabinet note said BSNL and MTNL are of strategic importance to the country, are providing services in far-flung areas and jointly account for 80% of landline and 71% of broadband connections in India. "BSNL is currently implementing a number of pan-India projects of national importance - network for spectrum costing around Rs 14,500 crore, national optical fibre network (NOFN) costing around Rs 20,000 crore, and in the North Eastern regions, it is providing telecom services in those areas where no operator has reached. BSNL and MTNL together are having strategic importance for providing telecom services to defence services and other central paramilitary forces. BSNL is also instrumental for implementing most of the schemes of Universal Service Obligation Fund for providing telecom services in rural and remote areas,"

BSNL-ன் நஷ்டம் மேலும் அதிகமாகும்

தேவைக்கு அதிகமாக வைத்திருக்கும் கூடுதல் அலைவரிசை (Spectrum)-க்கான கட்டணமாக BSNL 6,912 கோடி ரூபாய் மத்திய அரசுக்கு செலுத்த வேண்டுமென்று Demand Notice கார்ப்பரேட் அலுவலகத்துக்கு வந்துள்ளதாகத் தெரிகிறது. இதனால் BSNL-ன் நஷ்டம் மேலும் அதிகமாகலாம்.

காரைக்கால் மற்றும் நாகப்பட்டினம் பகுதியில் ஆண்டிச் சங்கத்திற்குச் சென்ற 17 தோழர்கள் அச்சங்கத்தைக் கலைத்துவிட்டு, தாய்ச்சங்கமாம் FNTO-வில் தம்மை மீண்டும் இணைத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளனர். அவர்களை தமிழ் மாநிலச் சங்கம் வாழ்த்தி வரவேற்கிறது. மயிலாடுதுறைத் தோழர்களையும் விரைவில் வாழ்த்தி வரவேற்க தமிழ் மாநிலச் சங்கம் காத்திருக்கிறது.

Veteran Leader of P & T Trade Union Movement Sri Om Prakash Gupta passed away tonight at New Delhi.

BSNL VISHISHT SANCHAR SEVA PADAK AWARD FOR 2012

Sri G.Muthukumaran working as an Accounts Officer in the office of the General Manager, BSNL, Karaikudi is conferred with the State level “Vishisht Sanchar Seva Padak Award” for the year 2012 in recognition of his continuous meritorious performance. The award comprise of Rs.21000 in cash, 50 grams Silver Medal, Citation and a Certificate.

The award was presented on the new year day in a special meeting held at Karaikudi which was presided over by the General Manager of BSNL. Sri A.Swaminathan, Assistant General Manager (Admin) welcomed the gathering. Sri K.S.Venkatasubramanian, General Manager presented the award and praised the awardee for his outstanding performance . Sri S.Ramakrishnan, Dy.General Manager (Finance) read out the citation and gave away the Silvar Medal. Sri S.Jeyachandran,  Dy.General Manager (Admin) and Smt.D.Rajammal, Dy.General Manager (Planning) also spoke on the occasion and congratulated the awardee. Sri D.Kumaraguru, Sub-Divisional Engineer (Admin) gave vote of thanks. A large number of officers and staff of BSNL attended the special meeting.

The State level “Vishisht Sanchar Seva Padak Award” for the year 2012 was conferred to 6 officers and 11 officials of Tamil Nadu Telecom. Circle among whom Sri G.Muthukumaran is the only officer awarded in Karaikudi Telecom. District.

புத்தாண்டு தினத்தன்று பி.எஸ்.என்.எல். பொது மேலாளர் திரு கே.எஸ்.வெங்கடசுப்பிரமணியன் தலைமையில் காரைக்குடியில் நடைபெற்ற விழாவின் போது மேற்படி விருது வழங்கப் பட்டது. உதவிப் பொது மேலாளர் (நிர்வாகம்) திரு ஏ.சுவாமிநாதன் வரவேற்புரையாற்ற, பொது மேலாளர் விருதை வழங்கி பாராட்டுரை நிகழ்த்தினார். துனைப் பொது மேலாளர் (நிதி) திரு எஸ்.ராமகிருஷ்ணன் பாராட்டுப் பத்திரம் வாசித்து, பதக்கத்தை அணிவித்தார். துனைப் பொது மேலாளர் (நிர்வாகம்) திரு எஸ்.ஜெயச்சந்திரன் மற்றும் துனைப் பொது மேலாளர் (திட்டம்) திருமதி D.ராஜம்மாள் ஆகியோர் வாழ்த்துரை வழங்க, விருது பெற்ற முத்துக்குமரன் ஏற்புரை நிகழ்த்தினார். துனைக் கோட்டப் பொறியாளர் (நிர்வாகம்) திரு D.குமரகுரு நன்றி நவில, அதிகாரிகளும் தொழிலாளர்களும் திரளாகக் கலந்து கொண்டு வாழ்த்தினர்.

தமிழ் மாநில அளவில் 6 அதிகாரிகளுக்கும் 11 ஊழியர்களுக்கும் 2012-ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான பி.எஸ்.என்.எல். விஷிஷ்ட் சன்சார் சேவா பதக் விருது வழங்கப் பட்டதில் காரைக்குடி தொலைத் தொடர்பு மாவட்டத்தில் ஒரு அதிகாரிக்கு இந்த விருது கிடைத்துள்ளது.
