Shameless Traitors

In the Cuddalore Circle Working Committee held on 19-12-2010, the General Secretary Sri K.Vallinayagam explained clearly about the past bitter experience of FNTO in alliance with BSNLEU and NFTE all over the country and the situation in which Central Working Committee held at Kolkata was forced to take the decision of standing alone in the ensuing election without supporting either BSNLEU or NFTE. In that Central Working Committee, S/Sri P.Andiappan and R.V.Jeyaraman also expressed their views regarding alliance. But, in a democratic organization majority decision holds good and accordingly the decision of contesting in the name of FNTO without taking part in any other’s alliance was to be implemented sincerely by one and all. The appeal of the General Secretary was accepted by all the Circle Office Bearers and District Secretaries except the three viz. S/Sri P.Andiappan (JCS), R.V.Jeyaraman (DS/CDL) and G.K.Soundararajan (DS/TNJ) who wanted an alliance with winning union squarely.

Now, the cat has come out of the box. The drama enacted by the three at Cuddalore has come to an end. They have declared of having disassociated themselves from FNTO and formed a new union. In the democratic country any body can open shop by any means. But, what had happened is they have formed the new union with the same name FNTO dishonestly and cowardly so as to support BSNLEU in the ensuing election. This shows their cunning and cheap tactics of confusing the FNTO members about the election. But, the loyal members of FNTO who have faith on the leadership will not yield to the mal-propaganda of these traitors, who have acted as spy of BSNLEU during the recent past. They will not succeed in their mission of disrupting the FNTO.

The morality demands even an ordinary member submits his resignation before joining any other union or forming a separate union. But, these people being All India / Circle / District office bearers, neither resigned nor handed over charges / funds properly. One website reported that Sri P.Andiappan (who was holding the AGS/JCS posts) has already resigned even fifteen days back but neither the Circle President nor the Circle Secretary nor the Central Head Quarters have received it till date. So, what the website reported is a blatant lie. Even in that website they were unable to tell that the other circle office bearers have resigned before the formation of the new association, an association formed just to enjoy some powers and not for the cause of workers.

SACHIN PILOT REVIEWS WORK OF BSNL, DOP AND DIT IN CHENNAI

Shri Sachin Pilot, the Union Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology reviewed work of BSNL, Department of Posts, Department of IT, and NIC in Chennai today. Sh. Sachin Pilot said that 1000 post offices in the country have already been upgraded to international standards under Project Arrow of the Department of Posts and 383 more have been taken up in the current phase. Of these, 80 post offices are in Tamil Nadu which would be inaugurated shortly.

Speaking about the services offered by BSNL, the Minister disclosed that there are presently about 74 lakh mobile and 3G subscribers in Tamil Nadu, of which over 14 lakhs are in Chennai. He said that the Tamil Nadu Circle and Chennai Telecom District have already added over 23 lakh subscribers till December, 2010 and would continue their efforts under an ambitious expansion plan. To ensure that mobile services are delivered to the remotest locations as well as to improve the quality of services, over 2200 mobile base stations have been added in the Tamil Nadu since March 2010. 3G services have already been commercially launched in 52 areas across the State Shri Pilot added.

But the Hon'ble Minister carefully avoided to mention how many Post Offices are being closed in the name of economy thereby depriving the facilities/services enjoyed by public. 
In Postal side also Marxist comrades are in power. So There can be no surprise that the Postal wing is in such a sad state of affairs.

*FNTO BROUGHT 40% TTA PROMOTION TO TELEPHONE MECHANIC.

*FNTO BROUGHT EDP SCHEME FOR SR. TOAS, BUT NFTE/BSNLEU DISTORIEED THE SCHEME.

*FNTO BROUGHT DIPLOMA ENGINEERING MINIMUM QUALIFICATION FOR TECHNICIAN (TTA) IN 1983 ITSELF.

*FNTO BROUGHT TTA THE DIPLOMA ENGINERS SCALES, DESPITE CONTINUED OPPOSSISON FROM NFTE & BSNLEU FOR 25 YEARS.
